What is the ECF Program?
The ECF (English for Children and Families) Program is an immersive English learning experience for families. It offers tailored classes for children, teens, and adults, allowing them to learn together while exploring Vancouver or Toronto. The program includes engaging lessons, activities, and field trips, making it a fun and enriching way to improve English as a family.

The program aims to provide children with a comprehensive foundation in all English skills. It emphasizes the understanding and use of essential communication skills within controlled vocabulary sets, expressions, and grammatical structures.
Students will study a variety of age-appropriate and relevant topics or themes to build fluency, grammatical accuracy, listening and reading comprehension, and phonetic awareness within basic situational contexts. They will also be introduced to cultural differences, including language, customs, traditions, and ways of thinking.

*SSLC will provide a mandatory lunch hour supervision for students in the Children’s English program in the winter of 2025 and will not allow parents to drop in during lunch break. Thank you for your understanding.
